I have a lot to be thankful for this year, as I’m sure do many of you. It’s easy to forget those things in the midst of the madness of day-to-day life. Money pressures, work, kids to name a few.  But we really do need to remember what is really important, and it’s not money, or how many things we have…

This year I’ve tried to concentrate on the good and not the bad.  I fell into old patterns a few times, or when things seemed really “black,” but overall I think I have been successful.  So tomorrow when you’re enjoying your turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and the rest of your feast what this holiday really means.

Below is what I am thankful for this year, there are many more things but these are the most important.  I hope you’ll share what you’re thankful in the comments!

my children, love, family, thankful, lynne st. jamesMy family – especially my children.  They always bring me joy and I am so very proud of all of them.

This year my son graduated from College (last Dec.), my youngest daughter started studying for her Masters. and married the love her life last month.  My oldest daughter, started a blog and continued down the path of her dreams with the support of her wonderful husband.  How could I not be thankful for all of that? ♥ ♥ ♥

I’m thankful for the support of my friends. It’s been a hard year at times, but they stood by me and were there when I needed them the most.  ♥

twice bitten and bewitched, vampires, gypsies, curses, magic, witches, lupus, love, erotic, paranormal, menage, lynne st. jamesI’m thankful for the opportunities I have had, including the three books I wrote and were published in the last year.  Having my first book published was a dream come true.  Having three published is amazing,  and I look forward to even more success in the coming year. ♥

I’m thankful for living in a country that has remained “free,” and all the service members both past and present who have kept us that way. ♥

So tomorrow when you sit down with your family, friends, or even if you’re alone this Thanksgiving, try to think about the good things. I’m sure there is at least one or two for each of us.  Even in the blackest of times there is a light.

From my family to yours I wish you the most wonderful day…
